I've done it

I think that, now that I can feel the little one moving pretty regularly and have passed the anatomy scan, now I might actually believe that there will be a baby.

As part of my believing in the (oh please don't let me jinx this) potential baby, I posted a little ticker thingy on my blog. I figured there's got to be some time when I stop being so neurotic about this pregnancy and start settling in and enjoying it, and this seems as good a time as any.

So that's it: I'm pregnant, I feel pretty damned good (I seem to have learned to minimize the reflux), I'm rocking some comfy elastic waist pants, and I can feel the little one move as I type this. There's no drama and I love it.

  1. Yay!

question: do you feel movement all the time? Cause I don't. I get bouts of lots of movement that last for several minutes, about 2-4 times per day. Otherwise I don't really feel anything. Just wondering to see what it's like for others... but isn't feeling movement such a blessed relief???

  2. Good job, miss thing. You are going to make it to the other side. (And I love your ticker. Hairs! I have a covert floating fetus posted on a separate page of my weblog, just because I love to look at it.)

  7. Yay for you! It is an ongoing battle for me, some days I'm fully present and enjoying the pregnancy, other days, eh, not so much. But i notice the happy days are more frequent the further this pregnancy progress.

Good for you - you should enjoy every moment of it - you have certainly earned it!!

  9. Rocking some elastic waisted pants and starting to go with the flow - wow, well done you!! It does take some nerve to allow hope, happiness etc into the pregnancy so I admire your attitude and wish you all the very best.
